The 2008 vintage in Mendocino was not without challenge which led us to declassify our vineyard designate Syrah wines and instead make appellation level blends as they nuance and individuality of the unique vineyards was not apparent. But make no mistake, this wine over delivers and continues to fly out of our warehouse. The vineyards were kept discreet until final blends for bottling were assembled.
