2012 Grenache Blanc
18% Skin Ferment
The Grenache Blanc is one of Tracey's projects that debuted with the 2010 vintage. The 2012 is a blend of from both the Fenaughty Vineyard and Swansboro Vineyard and includes 18% 6x & 11x day skin fermented Grenache Blanc (or crushed and left on skins to macerate just like a red wine).
Tasting Note: An exotically perfumed nose with bright aromas nectarine and orange pith, complicated by subtle floral and spicy herbal nuances. Fleshy and smooth, offering lively orchard fruit and honey flavors underscored by juicy acidity. This wine has the flavor impact to work with full-flavored and even spicy foods but there's a litheness to it that will suit lighter dishes.
