SAFE SHIPPING TIP: Summer weather is challenging for safely shipping natural wine. We strongly prefer a business address where an adult is available to sign on the first delivery attempt which avoids our unfiltered wines riding around on a hot truck all day.
Steve Williams was the first to plant Syrah in the Valley and the first to convince us to make Pinot. We found Broken Leg in 2005 for the Syrah. In 2007 Steve and Tracey got together and grafted a 1.5 acre block of Viognier to Pinot Noir. The block is perched on a hilltop boasting a 25% slope! The view is stunning and the work is back breaking. We lease this vineyard so we know intimately. It is truly our labor of love that produces this beautiful example of Anderson Valley Pinot!
Vinous Review, October 2016
Vivid red. High-pitched red berry, rose and Asian spice scents develop a zesty mineral overtone in the glass. Juicy raspberry and bitter cherry flavors deepen in the midpalate while maintaining vivacity. Clings with very good tenacity on the gently tannic finish, which features an exotic blood orange nuance and resonating spiciness,92 points. Josh Raynolds\
