2013 Mourvèdre

The Prospector

El Dorado

The Prospector vineyards are in California gold country and the wine is named for those countless men and women who searched, often without luck, for gold. Hearty, earthy, meaty and authentic, this Mourvèdre bottling leaves you wanting more. Gamey notes, crushed berries, licorice, graphite, crushed stones and squid ink. The palate shows off the wine’s stuffing with firm tannins, acidity and lingering flavors of cranberry and cassis.
