2016 Isabel's Cuvée, Grenache Rosé
This delicate Rosé is the perfect pairing for Spring
Our oldest running wine, the 2016 is our 13th vintage making our Rosé from the historic Gibson Ranch in the McDowell Valley. Our block dates back to the late 1800’s and is home to the oldest planting of Grenache Gris in the United States.
Tasting Note: There is a heady perfumed nose of fresh, crushed strawberries with floral and juicy tangerine notes. This wine dances across the palate like a prima ballerina. Like her, there is a quiet power to this wine in its delicate and perfect balance.
Vinous Review, June 2017
Bright, vaguely hazy yellow. High-pitched Meyer lemon and pear aromas show suave jasmine and zesty mineral nuances. Silky and precise on the palate, offering bitter citrus pith, pear skin and honeysuckle flavors that deepen and expand with air. Shows a hint of iodine on the penetrating finish, which lingers with excellent, mineral-driven tenacity,90 points. Josh Raynolds
