2016 Alphabet Soup
White, red, pink & orange wines that come together for a lip smacking delicious red (in color) blend.
Alphabet Soup was born with the previous vintage when Jared topped off a barrel of Grenache Blanc/Roussanne that was about 60% full with red wine (Grenache Noir). The result was shocking and delicious! 2016 is even more adventurous with Jared literally pulling pieces and parts from every color (white, red, pink and orange). The result again is absolutely delicious, should be served chilled like a white wine and will leave you wanting more. But be warned, only 35 cases were made to this is one of our wines exclusively offered to our wine club members.
Our staff says it tastes like adult kool-aid. This actually makes sense to us as this is packed with our juiciest notes like pomegranate seeds, candied cherries, and berry tart with lemon crème topping. A lifted acidity throughout makes this red-white blend a thirst quenching wine when served chill. And it is just as much fun to stick your nose into with all those candied berry flavors showing off next to a touch of herbaceous balance.
