2019 Pinot Meunier Pet Nat

2018 Pet Nat, Sparkling Pinot Meunier

From a 53 year old vineyard in the Russian River. Fresh, vibrant, lively this wine will surprise and delight sparkling fans near & far.

Russian River Valley

This Pinot Meunier comes from 53-year-old vines! We began making this wine in 2017 and decided to have the most fun possible by turning it into a Petillant Naturel (Pet Nat for short). This sparkling is the result of a natural fermentation bottled mid-way in its metamorphoses from juice to wine.

Tasting Note: least here in California, Autumn can feel more Summery than Summer. The last of the heat and sunshine compliments drinking this Pet Nat. It tastes of key lime, lemon verbena, white tea, and pomelo. Serve it super cold and toast to the change of seasons. You best believe it’s delicious with a meal of Thai green curry or fried fish tacos.
