SAFE SHIPPING TIP: Summer weather is challenging for safely shipping natural wine. We strongly prefer a business address where an adult is available to sign on the first delivery attempt which avoids our unfiltered wines riding around on a hot truck all day.
Of all our skin ferments the Grenache Blanc is by far the most adventurous. The texture, the deep hue, the long, chewy, fleshy tannins that seem as if they will go on for hours. This wine demands attention and a table of food and will benefit from at least an hour of exposure to air or a decanting.
Tasting Note: Definitely a staff favorite this year, with exclamations after tasting of “This is so good, there are tears in my eyes” or “I’ve died and gone to Heaven” or “This wine is a total banger”…you can only imagine you are in for a treat. Gorgeous aromatics quickly open up to lychee, apricot, jasmine flower and a salty ocean breeze. Once you get that first sip, you’ll notice our Grenache Blanc is playful and flirty — like the first warm day of Summer where you’re lakeside with your favorite book. We love the flavors of lemon verbena, tangerine pith and apricot showcasing alongside of strong and well integrated tannins. We’re looking forward to tasting this wine with some grilled chili lime steak tacos or spicy Pad Thai.
