2015 Grenache Blanc, Skin Fermented

Last made in 2012, this is the most esoteric and textured of our skin-ferments and the perfect wine for the adventurous palate!

El Dorado

Of all our skin ferments, the Grenache Blanc is by far the most adventurous. The texture, the deep hue, the long, chewy, fleshy tannins that seem as if they will go on for hours. This wine demands attention and a table of food and will benefit from at least an hour of exposure to air or a decanting.
​ Tasting Note: Citrus rind, grassy notes and baking spices slowly come together in this deep orange hued wine that boasts a chewy texture from the grippy tannins. The palate comes together with notes of dried orange peel, wet stone and herbaceous notes and a long and lingering finish. ​
