Join us for a talk and tasting with one of the Bay Area’s most passionate horticulturists and skilled winemakers, Nicole Walsh. Nicole was hand-picked by Randall Graham of Bonny Doon to help scale his access to organic vineyards and she played a critical role in expanding sustainable practices throughout the state. Extensive travel, coupled with deep knowledge, gave Nicole a unique understanding of local terroir – an understanding she now focuses on the coastal range near Santa Cruz.

Friday Night Happy Hour Music with Ravi Abcarian Trio
San Francisco Bay Area-based composer and bassist, Ravi Abcarian, began his musical journey at age 7 on guitar, later switching to upright bass at the urging of his high school jazz band director. He quickly became a fixture in the Bay Area music scene, playing in clubs, festivals, and with renowned artists such as Faye Carol, Edwin Kelly, and Smiley Winters. Ravi’s career also spans a wide range of collaborations, performing alongside artists like tap legend Fayard Nicholas, vocal group Sweet Honey in the Rock, and musicians such as Chico Freeman and Joshua Redman.

On Sunday, November 16, we’re popping bottles for a good cause with a festive fall gathering at Donkey & Goat Winery. Enjoy baked delights from Ovinloven, crafts and activities for kids, and special Thanksgiving wine offers to stock up before the holiday. In the spirit of the season, we’re partnering with the Berkeley Food Network – a portion of all wine sales will help support local families with their groceries this holiday season. Come sip what we’re known for – our bright and lively Pét Nat, and celebrate community, gratitude, and giving back with a day of family fun at the tasting room.
Friday Night Happy Hour Music with Javi Jiménez & Ross Howe
Javi Jiménez, a spanish guitarist based in San Francisco Bay Area presents a night of gypsy jazz along with Ross Howe celebrating the music of Django Reinhardt and Stéphane Grappelli and the Hot Club of Paris. Javi and Ross have been playing gypsy jazz together for over a decade. Their style is very open and often incorporates latin or flamenco style influences while always maintaining the jazz concept of improvisation.
